Travel

By Car

How long does it take to drive from Cluj-Napoca to Smida? About an hour and a half. We’re talking about 90 km (paved road). You take the E60/DN1 road and follow Huedin, Călata, Mărgău, Răchițele, Doda Pilii, and Smida.

For those looking for a trip in which to enjoy the beauty of the nature, we recommend an alternative route, where a rally takes place every year, through Călățele, Dealul Negru, Beliș, Bălcești, Dealul Botii, also arriving in Răchițele, Doda Pilii and finally Smida.

P.S. Regardless of the direction you come from or your GPS’s route, we strongly recommend taking the road through Huedin because it’s the best (your car will thank you).

By Bus

Between 18-21 August, four buses will travel from Cluj-Napoca to Smida and the other four from Smida to Cluj-Napoca.

Bus tickets are sold as a one-way trip and cost 50 lei.

The tickets can be purchased only until 24 hours before the departure time of each bus trip (from Cluj-Napoca or Smida), online (more details soon) or from the tickets sale point, at the festival entrance gate.
The departure and arrival station in Cluj Napoca is located in the Cora Supermarket’s Parking lot – Bulevardul 1 Decembrie 1918, no 142, next to the car wash.

The departure and arrival station in Smida is the local bus station 50m from the festival’s entrance.
